Facebook Wants Your Two Cents

Brief description of the ideas in the article:

Whenever changes were made, either in the aesthetics of Facebook or regarding its policies, users of the social networking site would never have a chance to agree or disagree with those in charge. However, Facebook will now accept input from users on how to manage the site. This implies that users will be the ones who determine the policies that concern them, such as those on the subject of privacy, ownership and sharing. The procedure will allow users to comment and vote on them before they are established. Virtual Town Halls will be carried out for a certain period of time in which the new documents will be presented. It is only after receiving opinions and feedback from users that Facebook will implement the new policies. In this attempt to be more open towards their public, the Facebook team is also presenting the possibility of forming a council (of users) to work closely with them.
